Internship at De Jong Architects, Annecy-le-vieux, France

Summer 2011

Aiming to contemporize an existing house, the proposition centralized on a chimney as a vertical hearth and terraces as a horizontal band to all spaces.

The internship was one part learning conventional French chalet construction and one part solving renovation of an existing structure.

Working with the project architect, I worked on the concept and design and created presentation drawings for our client.
